We are very excited to announce a collaboration with PBS television Stations nationwide, from May- December 2008 featuring works of art by artist, Nicole Woodford. Select works of art will be featured from Maine- California on specialized stations throughout the nation. The tabs to the left will give you information on the station and the On Air Auction, and or General Auction Information. You may also contact the station for additional information. "I am truly happy to share the work, and work together with PBS on this wonderful opportunity." Nicole Woodford M.F.A. Nicole Woodford’s paintings are rich, bold, melodic, dynamic, and genuine. Nicole is an innovative artist who has recently returned from traveling/teaching in China. She has earned her Master of Fine Art degree at the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas. And her B.A. degree from Grambling State University in LA. She relocated from the east coast several years ago, in pursuit of her educational endeavors. Nicole Woodford’s current body of work reflects gestures,abstraction, and non-objective works of art. In Nicole Woodford’s previous work she chose to focus the work on color, space, patterning,and rhythym. In most earlier paintings, Nicole Woodford chose to portray rhythm in an alternating recurring style. This recent work displays changes, accenting gestured brushstrokes, spontaneous mark-making, and expressive energy. This website will reflect a variety of artistic styles.
